WebbI visited the cherhill monument as I walked from Devizes along the white horse trail route to Avebury. It's a good short walk uphill from the A4. However if you want to get more of a walk under your belt, start at smallgrain picnic area (parking) just off the A4 on a road between Devizes and calne (search for north Wiltshire golf course).
