And lectures by rangers on the history and geology of the park and the Lake Superior region. The boat actually rates better than park accommodations which are below par for park facilities. The Ranger III is a 165 foot long, 34 feet wide, 648 ton passenger vessel. An experienced nine-member crew takes great pride in maintaining the vessel and serving its passengers.
