WebCOB (chip on board) refers to assembly of bare die onto a laminate substrate, such as FR-4, with wirebonding. This is sometimes referred to as MCM-L. DCA(direct chip attach) refers to flip chip attach of a bare die to a laminate substrate. It is distin-guished from COB by the use of flip chip bonding rather than wirebonding.
